ReectionIIn specular reection a mirror sur-face reects a beam of light so that the angle of reection is equal to the angle of incidence (eg. the angle of the incoming light is the same as the angle of the outgoing/reected light)

-“Reect upon your present blessings -- of which every man has many -- not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some.” - Charles Dickens

-“If I speak of myself in different ways, that is because I look at myself in different ways.” - Michel de Montaigne

-“If every library is in some sense a reection of its readers, it is also an image of that which we are not, and cannot be.”- Alberto Manguel

-“Ah, Humanity”- Herman Melville

Texture is one of the most intriguing, even mys-terious aspects of photography. It stimulates the sensation of touch. Whereas our sense of vision operates at a distance from the world, the sense of touch brings us up close and personal, to the sensitivity of our ngertips, face, and skin.

Feelings Through Textures

-”A subtle amount of texture attracts the eye.” Clyde Aspevig

-”The texture at the edge or value change tells what it is.”- Tony van Hasselt

-“Little moments can have a feeling and a texture that is real”- Anonymous

Synesthesia

Synesthesia is when the stimulation of one sensory system leads to an experience in an-other system. For example, you see colors when you hear music. Or a texture triggers a taste in your mouth. Think about those com-puter programs that translate music into shape-shifting patterns and colors that dance across the screen.

-Sopa de letras? o Letras en sopa?-

-Sometimes I think in colors-

-Por que ocho horas al dia no son suf-cientes-
