What is diversity?

Why have a diversity or unity fair?

The UCR Diversity Educators Network defines diversity as all the ways in which people differ, including innate and acquired characteristics.

In addition, the DEN connotes diversity as inclusive excellence for the success of a superior research and teaching institution such as UCR.

Such fair is an opportunity to springboard our talents and skill sets that draw from age, race, income, religion, etc.
