International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health for Children and Young People (ICF-CY)

• Our VISION is to:

“Create a world where every child with special needs can enjoy a childhood filled with play, participation and possibilities.”

• At Firefly, we are unable to influence a child’s health condition or environment…

• …but we believe that Firefly products can influence body structures, activities and participation.

ICF & Firefly

Development of MAP

Firefly by Leckey Webinar Series

We believe the design and manufacture of our products can influence:

• Mobility (Activities)

• Ability (Body functions and structures)

• Participation

This is the Firefly MAP with the child and family firmly at the centre of everything we do.

MAP – Firefly definition

Mobility

A child being able to access their world and gain as much independence as possible

Ability

Improving physical, cognitive and social development

Participation

Being able to experience as many activities as possible

Using the UpseeTherapy Programme

The Upsee Therapy Programme aims to:

• We would love at least one of the following:

• Photos/scans of MAP Mobility Assessments

• Photos/videos demonstrating progress at each review

• Photos/scans of MAP Ability Assessment
