I learned a lot about foxes. I am going to share with you what they look like, what they

eat, where they live, and some other interesting facts.

Did you know that not all red foxes have reddish coats? Some are black or silver.

Foxes live in wooded areas forests and farm lands. Foxes homes are

called dens.

Foxes are carnivores or meat eaters. They also eat birds named ptarmigans and there eggs. They also eat fruits and vegetables.

Native Americans admired the fox for its

speed and cunning.

The scientific name for the artic fox is alopex logopis which means fox

with rabbit feet.
