ITINERARY FOR THIS SAFARI – DAY 1 / Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park

• 7:30 am: Pick-up from your hotel in Kampala and head north to Murchison Falls National Park (320 km / 6 hours).

• On arrival at the park, head to the top of Murchison Falls, for spectacular views of the River Nile hurling itself through a narrow crevice and plunging down 40 metres in one breathtaking leap.

• Arrive at your lodge mid-afternoon. • Afternoon at leisure. • Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

DAY 2 / Murchison Falls National Park

• Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at your lodge. • Two game drives to be taken at leisure.

DAY 3 / Murchison Falls National Park - Kampala

• After breakfast, bid farewell to your lodge and begin the drive back to Kampala, to arrive late in the afternoon.

• Drop off at your hotel. Make your safari even more interesting with add-on options to Chobe Safari Lodge (eastern part of Murchison Falls National Park) or Budongo Eco-Lodge (Budongo Forest), and even take a rhino trek or chimpanzee trek en-route… i. Add a night at the luxurious Chobe Safari Lodge, Murchison Falls National Park In case you take this add-on at the beginning of your safari, then you have the option of visiting Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary en-route, and tracking the rhinos before proceeding to Chobe.
