Chapter 1

Day 1

Day 6Day 5Day 4

Day 3Day 2

1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Gen 1

Satan rebelled and fell.

2. Now the earth was (became) formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

He was the angel leading worship

You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. You were the anointed cherub who covers;  I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. (Ezek 28:12-14, NKJV)

Origin of Satan

He was the highest archangel

But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!“ (Jude 9)

Origin of Satan

Cause: pride

Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. (Ezek 28:17)

Rebellion of Satan

Purpose: lifting himself to equal with God

You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.

I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High."

But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit. (Is 14:13-15)

Rebellion of Satan

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Phil 2:5-11)

In contrast, Christ humbled himself...

God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.

(James 4:6; 1 Peter 5:5)

Process: leading 1/3 angels to rebel

His tail swept a third of the stars (i.e. angels) out of the sky and flung them to the earth. (Rev 12:4)

(Maybe there were creatures on earth then, and they also rebelled with Satan.)

Rebellion of Satan

Result: they were under judgement

Fallen angels became evil spirits and occupyed the air. (see Eph. 6:12)

(Maybe those rebelling creatures on earth became spirits deprived of bodies, i.e. demons, and dewelt in waters.) (see Matt. 12:43)

The earth became formless and empty, and was covered by waters. (see Gen. 1:2)

Rebellion of Satan

The six days of creation may represent the process

of a man’s growth after he was born again.

Spirit

Word

Light

When he (Holy Spirit) comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment. (John 16:8)

Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. (Rom. 10:17)

For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. (2Cor. 4:6)

… the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Gen 1:2-3)

rhema

Day 1: Sep. btwn the light and the darkness

Day 3: Sep. btwn the sea and the land

Day 2: Sep. btwn the above and the below

When the Spirit, the word and the light came,

there were three “seperation”.

Wnen a man is born again, he can distinguish between the light and the darkness, and between life and death.

He can now tell the difference between heavenly and earthly, spiritual and worldly.

The 3rd day - resurrection; sea - death; land - Christ

Life of Christ begins to appear. (grass, veg, trees)

Day 4: Astrospheres appear

Day 6: Beasts, livestock and man appear

Day 5: Fish and birds appear

…to separate the day from the night, … to mark seasons and days and years.

To know Christ (sun), the church (moon) and the model of victorious saints (stars).

Fish: the life overcomes the water of death.

Birds: the life overcomes the earthly world. (eagle)

Life of Christ is manifested even more. (lion, ox, man)

Also before the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. (Rev 4:6-7)

Lion: Gospel of Matthrew

Ox: Gospel of Mark

Man: Gospel of Luke

Eagle: Gospel of John

-- Christ is the King

-- Christ is the Servant

-- Christ is the perfect Man

-- Christ is the Son of God

The law and parables of the kingdom of heaven

His miracles, power and action

His humanity, compassion and prayer life

His divinity, His relationship with the Father

It is he who will build the temple of the LORD, and he will be clothed with majesty and will sit and rule on his throne. And he will be a priest on his throne. And there will be harmony between the two (i.e. the kingship and the priesthood). (Zech 6:13)

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." (Gen 1:26)

Purposes man was made:

1. In God’s image and likeness, to manifest God. (as priest)

2. With God’s authority to rule over the earth and to conquer the enemy. (as king)

(as king)

The more a man comes in contact with God, the more he can be like God, and then he can conquer God’s enemy.
