What Activity Has Been Occurring at the City of London?
MSEC – the Mayor’s Sustainable Energy Council is committed to promote, encourage and support the development and implementation of practical research and initiatives, technologies, and investment in the area of sustainable energy
LEEP – this project brought the City together with the development industry to evaluate the feasibility of a variety of green building technologies; funding was obtained from senior levels of government to support the partnership and allow builders to introduce many of these technologies within pilot project developments.
Placemaking and Urban Design Initiative – the City of London has worked with the development industry to raise the bar on the design of our new communities as well as infill and development projects, by working towards development which supports walking, transit usage and cycling.
