A MASTERPLAN FOR THE NEW QUARTER IN THE AREA OF SAN PAOLO DOCK, THE OLD FRUITS AND VEGETABLE MARKET AND THE NATIONAL MESEUM OF ITALIAN JUDAISM AND THE SHOAH (MEIS)

The old fruits and vegetable market and San Paolo dock area has been included in an Urban Reclamation Plan and in the coming years will be involved into regeneration actions through demolitions, reclamations and construction of

new buildings and public parking areas, thanks to funding provided by a National Call for Urban Reclamation and Suburban Security (Application

submitted in 2016).Particular attention has been paid to the

upgrading and the creation of pedestrian link connections to restore the linking between river,

central squares and railway station.
