Hypothesis

• I think the greenhouse effect is ___________________________________________________________________________________________________.

Materials

• Three glass containers

• Three thermometers

• Damp paper towel

• Clock

• Heat lamp

Procedure

• 1. Record initial temp for each thermometer. • 2. Place a thermometer in an empty glass container,

Place another thermometer in a glass container and cover with plastic wrap, place the third thermometer in the glass with the damp paper towel and cover with plastic wrap.

• 3. Place all three under heat lamp equal distance from heat source.

• 4. Record temp every 60 sec 20 times. Record data• 5. Remove from heat observe what happens to the

temperature. Record observations
