Dear Tom:

(1) My sincere thanks for your excellent presentation at our Columbia University seminar in the evening of March 28th (Reference (a) above), which was made coming all the way from Atlanta, Georgia.  Its attendees were all inspired with your talk in wide range.

(2) I also thank you for your attending our mtg with Baharicom people at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, on March 29th (References (b) and (c) above) to talk about their cooperation with Greg Cole of GLORIAD (Figure 1 below) to extend it to South Africa through “Africa Connect to Europe (ACE)” (Figure 2 below) ultra high speed optical submarine cable of Baharicom (Reference (d) above), which is now being deployed along the west coast of African continent.  This is after Greg has already extended the GLORIAD to the northern periphery of the Africa, including Egypt.

Figure 2: <http://tinyurl.com/yg8rw53>

(3) I also greatly appreciated your Lightwave and Wireless Systems’ willingness to work with us on the creation of GEWS in all the key universities in ECOWAS member countries along the west coast of African continent (Reference (c) above).  Their socio-economic-energy-environmental simulation models are to be interconnected for the policy analysis of their co-prosperity in cooperation with GLORIAD through ACE.

Figure 3: < http://tinyurl.com/42h5kug>

Many of transport infrastructure segments in this Figure 3 have been supported by the $4 billion ODA pledged to the Africa Union for the construction of transportation super highway by the Japanese government (Reference (e) above).  As said in the minutes of our mtg at Stevens Institute of Technology (Reference (c) above), this would be the best opportunity to lay fiber-optic cable and provide broadband (BB) Internet, thus saving considerable its deployment cost (i.e., Japanese tax-payers money).

(4) I would then say that our mtg at Stevens Institute of Technology on March 29, 2012 made the following substantial directions;

(a) Strong willingness of both parties of GLORIAD and Baharicom to extend the former to  South Africa through ACE of the latter,(b) Possibility of constructing Africa in-continent broadband Internet as utilizing the $4 billion ODA pledged by the Japanese government,(c) Possibility of Spanish cooperation to extend GLORIAD through

Baharicom’s future lines to Caribbean and Latin American countries — see Reference (c) above.

Dear Victor, Mool and Ed:

(5) My sincere thanks for your letting us to have this mtg at your school.

Pls convey my thanks to Ms. Maria Toloza, Victor’s secretary, too.

Dear Dan Molina:

(6) I am awfully sorry we could not enough time for your presentation, since everybody were excited to hear of GLORIAD from Greg.

Dear Greg:

(7) Pls convey my apology to Naveen K Vallabhaneni, not being able to use iChat — we had some difficulty to use its Internet connection with iChat — lessens learned at this occasion were (a) we should test it well in advance, and (b) we need to have your side cell-phone numbers — since your and Anita’s office phones were all left for answering messages.

Dear Harold:

(8) Many, many thanks for your Skype connections with Greg and Molina — you saved our mtg!!

Keep in touch.

Best, Tak
