Assignment

• Create a 11x12 hard-edge painting using a line design of your choice. It will be painted with all primary, secondary and tertiary colors – mixed perfectly! You may also use black.

• You will be graded on:– Composition/Design– Clarity of colors/mixed correctly– Neatness of shapes/edges– Minimum of 24 sections!

• In your sketchbook– break up your page into at least 24 different

• NON-CROSSING LINES/Can be overlapping

Use different lines – curvy, bent, straight,

wavy, etc.

Do NOT use only straight lines unless interesting design

Fill entire space with different sections

Label each section for what color it will be
