Tony works across the Fylde Coast and Blackpool areas to deliver all initial assessments.
The Initial Assessment lasts up to an hour and helps
determine individual goals. The appointment takes
place in one of Fylde Coasts YMCA centres. It is your
chance to speak with Tony about the different activities
on offer and to discuss any other concerns before
participating in physical Activity.
Tony is a Level 4 Cancer Rehabilitation specialist. He has
been involved in the Health and Physical Activity sector
for a number of years, where he has used his expertise
and knowledge to deliver effective physical activity
programmes for a wide range of clients.
At the Initial Assessment Tony will explain the benefits
of keeping physically active and start you on your
exercise journey. Fylde Coast YMCA offers a ‘Buddy
Scheme’ for those who wish to bring a friend or family
member along with them for free. We recognise this can
be of great support and help motivate individuals to
attend more regularly.
The scheme has helped me feel more
confident in myself. It has given me a
purpose through some tough times and help
me stay motivated in every area of my life.
The support given by all staff has
been incredible
