Restore Deleted News Item

Dropbox Folder Submission Log

If student forgets to “submit” the file, the history log now includes the date and time the student

uploaded the file, which substantiates a student’s claim to have attempted to submit an assignment.

Copy Selected Components Workflow

• The Import/Export/Copy Components now uses asynchronous workflow to avoid timeouts when copying large courses.

• The History page displays the progress of the copy.

and time of when copy was performed

Groups Self Enrollment Settings

1. Instructors can set a deadline “expiry date” for when students need to complete their group self enrollment choice

2. Instructors can have any students who did not choose a group automatically enrolled in a group after expiry date

3. Instructors can set a group prefix to clearly identify group names instead of the generic “Grp1, Grp2, “ naming convention. This applies to all groups, not just self enrollment groups

Note: students can only leave groups that allow self enrollment. This allows the student to switch toa different self enrollment group. Enrollments in all other group types can only be changed by the instructor.

What’s FixedThe following issues experienced by MnSCU users have been fixed as of version 10.5.3

• Navigation to a specific thread in a topic works correctly when clicking on a link from a notification or from the Discussions Subscription page.

• The Add Users to Special Access button in Quizzes is now clickable in Firefox and Safari when using a Mac.

• Setting a release condition that uses percentage parameters no longer results in an 'Internal Error'.

• Pearson grades will now be synced back into D2L.

• Attempt score and overall attempt score will now display when submission view is set to display the score.

• When grading a quiz, using 'Update All Attempts' for a multiple choice question will now display the question answer options.

D1205 You can now see who copied a course through the existing Copy Course Components History page.

D2335, D987, D880, Enhancements to the Groups tool D786, D777 and D649 allows users to join groups more easily and instructors

and admins can setup and manage groups more easily.

D1870 and D1928 Instructors can now restore deleted News items within the Learning Environment.
