The flower of a Peony is closed very tight!

The black ants are attracted to the nectar in the flower. The ants will then pull slightly at the peony petals to get to the nectar. This helps to loosen the peony’s petals and makes it easier for the flower to open.

We can observe how ants cause changes in our environment..
