and more
Attendance: This is a daily
task and is the
responsibility of the
Learning Coach. Click on
the attendance link in the
To do list. Click on the day
you want to add
attendance time to. Add
the correct number of
hours for that day. All
students may be different.
Make sure that the time
logged adds up to a
minimum time needed
every week. For High School students that should be about 28 hours.
Checking the Grade book: From the homepage scroll down to the My Household section. Click on the
green A+ for the student whose grade book you want to look at.
Once you have
opened the
grade book, each
individual class is
a link to the
assignments that
have been
graded.
Lesson
Completion:
Every course has
a percentage of lessons that have already been completed. A general rule of thumb is about 20% per
month that school has been in session. Courses that are labeled A or B are semester courses.
Checking Individual Grades: Once you have clicked the link for a specific
course, you will see all of the lessons that have been finished and
graded or not completed yet. To check the grade of an assessment that
has been graded click the link under points for the given assessment.
Click grade to view
details of assessment.
Click lesson number to
open the online course.
Looking at Graded Assessments:
After clicking the link under
points, this will pull up a new window
with the assessment that has been
taken. You can see the answers that
were submitted and if they were
correct or incorrect, elapsed time,
teacher comments, rubrics, and scores.

Accessing the section message board:
Message boards
Click the purple push pin and a list of message board options will open. There are two kinds of message
board, section message board and school message boards. The section message board is designed for
the students enrolled in the section. There IS a way for parents to see the section message board. I will
give those instructions in a moment. Follow the path to find the message board you want to look at.
Message boards are important to check because this is where teachers and administrators will post
announcements to large group of students. Using these boards should decrease the number of web
mail messages students receive.
Students can choose the section message board from the list when they click on
the purple push pin at the top of the screen.
