How to use Access Point with Cable Modem Motorola and WPS

1. Power lights

2. LAN connection light (if a LAN line is connected, the light will

be on)

3. WAN connection light will be on every time there is a line

connected at WAN slot.

4. Wireless status light

1. After connecting LAN line between Access Point at the WAN slot

and Docsis

2. Proceed with Zyxel NBG-416N connection (Default: no Security)

3. Open a Browser and type 192.168.1. Enter “admin” for Username

and "1234” for Password

4. Check the IP Address from Docsis

5. Select Network > Wireless LAN > General > Security

Select WPA2/PSK at Security Mode

Place a check mark at WPA Compatible

Select TKIP+AES for Cipher Type

Enter the desired parameters for Security

Click Apply

6. Reconnect after the parameters for security is entered.

7. You can enter the set Passkey or press WPS at Access Point if

your Notebook supports WPS

8. You can connect and access the Internet

9. Passkey can be checked by right clicking and selecting View

Connection Properties

10. Place a check mark at Show characters

Note: WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK must be selected for security mode

before setting the parameters for WPS
