• A TIES account gives the user access to ITU documents related to particular projects within ITU.

• A TIES account also allows the user to become members of email reflectors focused on specific topics. These reflectors are a means of participating in the ongoing discussions of these topics.

• For IEEE 802 participants, especially with respect to IMT-Advanced issues related to the wireless work groups, this information can be useful in advancing work group agendas with respect to international regulatory activities.

• The TIES account approval should be complete within a few hours, unless there is a request for more information.

• You will be sent an email with your username and a temporary password.

• When you log in:

– Create a new password

– Log Out.

– Log in again, using your new password.

– On the TIES home page, http://www.itu.int/tiesutils/asp/home.asp , in the first column, under “Account options” click on “Subscribe / Unsubscribe to mailing lists”.

– You will then see a page showing which mailing lists (email reflectors) you are already subscribed to, and below that, which mailing lists you can request subscription to.

– Allow a day or two for your request to be processed. You will receive an email advising you once your request is approved.
