Future Event: Student Leadership TrainingPlan student leadership training in the beginning of September once schools start back up (as a change from concurrently with the Denver Section Training which is in February and not conducive for students who have new officers each school year.

March 2013 balance was $25,643.3Rebate money received from IEEE headquarters.

touch base with him in a month to make sure it’s processed� $500 from Region 5

Electronic Modernization - Mark KesslerGoogle Apps – Marc K. has set up accounts for Denver ExCom officers to try on a demo basis (photos, calendars, etc).• New alias will be [name]@ieee-denver.org for login• Possibilities for bulk data storage, email and migration from GoozMo site.• Opens up many possibilities to modernize our website and improve support for
our chapters for only $84/year• Google Apps for Non-Profits
• Corporate IEEE is moving there, but won’t provide support for Section accounts.

L. New Business: Action Items May - June� Funding for IEEE Milestone Project - Presented by Duane Torgeson (PES)
� IEEE Milestones in Electrical Engineering and Computing program honors significant technical achievements in all areas associated with IEEE. It is a program of the IEEE History Committee, administered through the IEEE History Center.
� Duane presented the IEEE MILESTONE PROPOSAL for sponsorship by Denver IEEE Chapter or Section: Smith HVDC Converter With Integrated AC Voltage Control Capability
- Sponsorship commitments (others are committed - see Appendix)� Funding Request Approved – Google Apps (Website Migration) Moved and
seconded fo to fund for 3 years a new website to replace Goozmo and designed by Marc Kessler
� IEEE-USA Conferences (section funding available
