Health Application Overview

Designed for student screenings for pre-enrollment as well as new students.

Student rosters can be synchronized with the device prior to the screenings.

New students can be entered into the device with minimal data.

Device syncs with WiFi to upload data to WVEIS.

Health App Requirements

WVEIS User ID for Web Based WVEIS Including employee number ‘Nurse’ job classification

WiFi connection within a county school facility.(Must be part of the “10.” education network and NOT a public IP address)

Download the application free through iTunes(Search for “WVEIS”)

Entries from the iTouch Application or existing entries can be opened by clicking on the date.

New entries can be manually entered by clicking on the ‘New’ link.

BMI Vision Hearing Oral Health Developmental Communication/Speech/Language

WVEIS Health Tab - BMIUnits of

measure can be standard or metric.

BMI is calculated by new entry or a change to the data.

Optional Data is still permitted for county use if desired.
