• Goals: facilitate mentoring and

collaboration, regional data sharing

• Sharing of Death Certificates to ID:

– Individuals involved in an incident that

began in Indiana but death occurred in

another state

• Once approved, the CoC protects ISDH

from being compelled to release

identifiable information in response to

legal demands at the federal, state, or

local levels.

uploaded within 6 months of Death!

• Median days from death to initiation in

INVDRS = 81 days
