D00302EN - v0 VISIO HERMÉTICO OPERATOR - INSTALLATION MANUAL
The foreseen use of manusa automatic doors is to allow pedestrians through without them
having to activate any control or component. Uses which are prohibited must be avoided and are listed below: - Not modifying the door or any of its components. - Not allowing children to play with the door. - Not disconnecting, handling or putting out of serve the door's safety components.
- Not allowing interventions on the door by technicians not authorised by manusa.
- Not using spare parts other than the original ones provided by manusa.
- Not using any part of the door as an element where for resting objects or where people rest against. This list has taken into account reasonably foreseeable incorrect uses. In spite of this, manusa accepts no liability for possible accidents or damage incurred as the result of inappropriate uses not referred to above.
1.5 - Machine marking
The machine should have a marking label similar to the one in the image. If not, notify this to the Technical Assistance Service (see the back of the manual).
1.4 - Compatibility
manusa automatic doors are compatible with almost the entire manusa accessory range
Two types of carpenty are available that are compatible with the manusa hermetic operator:
P50 LEAF Perimeter structure of aluminium profiles with central polyisocyinurate nucleus and outer finis-hing in HPL and Stainless Steel.

The diagram shows the standard wiring for the elements the operator includes as standard.
The installation of the manusa machines and any maintenance, regulation, adjustment, etc. intervention should be carried out
by qualified technical staff that meet the following requirements:
Know how to use the handling and/or lifting equipment. Correctly handle the loads. Learn to use personal protective equipment. Know how to apply the indications of the Low Voltage Regulation.
Have technical knowledge on manusa products.
Know the reference and applicable regulations for manusa products and services.
manusa automatic doors should be installed in places with the following conditions:
- Smooth, even and level floor. - Smooth, even and level wall with sufficient load capacity. - Levelled partition profiles. - No vibrations and knocks in the door area. - Service temperature: from -15 ºC to +50 ºC. - Relative air humidity: Electrical and electronic components of the operators manufactured to operate in tropical climates receive a surface treatment that protects them from atmospheric humidity.

3.3.1 - Commissioning
3.3.2 - Normal stopping and emergency stopping
3.3 - Operating principles
3.4 - Operating modes
manusa automatic doors only operate automatically. Manual operation is only foreseen in the event of an emergency and to
carry out the cleaning, maintenance and adjustment tasks.
D00302EN - v0 VISIO HERMÉTICO OPERATOR - INSTALLATION MANUAL
Checks and adjustments before the commissioning of manusa automatic doors can only be carried out by technical staff
authorised by manusa.
Consult the MDS instructions manual.
Normal stopping of manusa doors and starting them up is carried out automatically. Emergency situations are automatically
managed by the machine itself. Nevertheless, an optional emergency stop can be installed.

4 - SAFETY
4.1 - Identification of the machine’s dangerous areas
4.2 - Risk assessment
D00302EN - v0 VISIO HERMÉTICO OPERATOR - INSTALLATION MANUAL
manusa automatic doors can have multiple auxiliary safety functions:
- Connection for fire alarm: the door will open although it is closed and without the mains power supply. - Opening movement protection: The operator is designed to manage the signal of the presence sensors in the opening area. An intermittent acoustic signal warns the pedestrian when he/she is in the opening area of the sliding leaves. If the door is opening, its opening is slowed down.

DOOR ENVIRONMENT
The sliding leaf or leaves of an automatic door are heavy parts in movement that have dangerous areas that you need to know.
The different dangerous situations that our machines have once they leave the factory, throughout the installation, commis-sioning, maintenance, adjustment and disassembly process of our machines are listed below. The measures for minimising risks that should be put into practice during these life phases of the machine are also listed:
MECHANICAL DANGERS
Dangers Dangerous Area
Risk prevention measures
Structural Machine
environment Assess the suitability of the structure where the machine is going to be installed: smooth, even
and levelled floor. Smooth, even, levelled wall and with sufficient load capacity, no obstacles in
the passing area, etc.
Stability Machine
environment Fix the different parts of the machine stably, using adequate materials and carefully following
the indications in the assembly manual.
Shearing, cutting or severing
Closing area Use glass according to UNE-EN 12600 to manufacture/repair the door's leaves.
Check that there are no cutting burrs and edges on the different parts of the machine.
Pulling and trapping
Inside the
machine Do not touch inside the machine when it is running.
Impact and crushing
Closing area Adjust the machine's closing force to the value adapted to its use.
Check the correct operation of the inside and outside detectors.
Crushing Machine
environment Take special care when placing the machine in its final location.

Make the electrical contacts, mains connection, earthing connection and checks
following the indications in the assembly manual.
DANGERS RELATED TO THE CONTROL AND SAFETY DEVICES
Dangers Dangerous Area Risk prevention measures
Opening controls
Machine environment In the event of installing manual controls, position them correctly: except for
unauthorised or malicious handling.
Check and install the detectors following the installation and wiring instructions.
Lack of power supply
Machine environment Check that the machine starts to operate again safely after an interruption in the power supply.
The principal aim of the design of the manusa door has been to reduce possible risks, in the first place eliminating the danger and then
reducing the risk. To do so the following has been followed in the following order: · Intrinsic prevention and safe design. · Protection measures for risks than cannot be eliminated by intrinsic prevention. · Information measures on the residual risks that cannot be sufficiently protected. · Supplementary measures and precautions. After this design process, the door has a residual risk that it has not been able to totally eliminate: Risk: Impact on the opening area. Risk reduction measures: we recommend adopting one of the following measures: - Install detection devices in the opening area. - Install barriers, fixed or deterrent protections in the opening area that prevent or hinder people accessing the
dangerous area. - Signpost the opening area.
1.- Keep the surroundings of the door tidy and clean. 2.- Do not use any part of the door as an element where for resting objects or where people rest against. 3.- Do not allow children to play with the door.
Consult MDS user manual.

D00302EN - v0 VISIO HERMÉTICO OPERATOR - INSTALLATION MANUAL
Maintenance of the manusa door can only be carried out by authorised technical staff.
The maintenance tasks reserved for the user are, exclusively, those of keeping the area of the door tidy and clean. manusa's
fitter technicians specify on work sheets all the maintenance tasks carried out. We recommend filing these sheets together with this manual as proof of the interventions carried out on the door. Consult the periodical maintenance tasks to be carried
out by the authorised technical personnel. If maintenance interventions are carried out by non-authorised staff, manusa is not
liable for safety incidents that might occur.
All spares should be manusa originals and installed by an authorised technician. manusa is not liable in any event for dam-
age that may be caused from failing to comply with these guidelines.
Periodical maintenance together with the adequate cleaning of the different elements of your manusa automatic door will allow you to
enjoy your product in optimum conditions during a long useful life. · To clean the product, select using the control selector the OPEN door operating mode. In this way the leaves of your door can be freely moved for a more comfortable and easier cleaning.
· To reestablish the normal operation of the door select the AUTOMÁTIC Door operating mode. Some indications for correctly cleaning the different parts of the machine are detailed below. Clean the machine parts with a slightly damp cloth. If in any doubt about chemical products used for cleaning, consult the prod-
uct data sheet or contact manusa's technical department.
This machine is easy to disassemble and putting it out of service does not entail any difficulties. Continue disassembling the
machine by elements and correctly managing the waste is not difficult.
