software program, designed to have users animating their drawings in minutes. The program's simple-to-use tools, engaging design, and multiple levels offer a fun, rewarding experience that gives even a novice animator or reluctant artist the courage to create.”

Animation-ish

Animation-ish promotes the integration of technology into all subject areas as it encourages students’ creativity and self-expression…important 21st century skills.

Examples from the Classroom

BJ Feeney utilized the tool to illustrate simple machines. This project, by a third grade student, was done to map new vocabulary of an expository book with a visual representation of the concept.

Examples From the Classroom

Vicky Kherlopian’s 3rd grade class wrote science poems about “curiosity” and animated them using Animation-ish. These poems were entered into MIT’s Curiosity Challenge. Three students won and received a plaque in a ceremony at Walker Memorial in Cambridge!

FableVision software has been an excellent opportunity for teachers to allow seamless integration of 21st century skills and technology into the curriculum. Thank you to the 3rd grade teachers who participated in the T-I-P course this year for all their work and creativity. Also, thank you to FableVision for the opportunity afforded to WPS to use this tool.

Thank You
