Levels of Competition– Fall Leadership Conferences – Presented by different

areas across the state, check www.texasbpa.com – Regional Leadership Conference – Last three

weekends in January. First level of competition, participate in Torch Awards program, State Service Projects, Regional President elected, winners advance to State competition

• February 27-March 2--Houston, Texas--Participate in Torch Awards program, Texas Intern Program, State Officer Team elected, winners advance to Nationals

– National Leadership Conference -- • May 8-12--Orlando, FL--Participate in Torch

Awards, National Intern Program, National Leadership Academy, National Officers elected

Torch Awards Program (individual recognition)Recognition earned by students for their commitment to community service

Torch Awards• 9 Torches – faith, hope, love, friendship,

cooperation, patriotism, leadership, service, knowledge– Promotes community involvement,

adaptability and action inside and outside of BPA.

• 4 Levels – diplomat, executive, statesman, ambassador
