ITDC came into existence in October 1966 and has been the prime mover in the progressive development, promotion and expansion of tourism in the country.
ITDC is running hotels, restaurants, provides transportation facilities for tourists. ITDC is also engaged in production, distribution and sale of tourist publicity literature and provides entertainment and duty free shopping.
ITDC has committed itself to improve the state of Indian tourism industry overall and to facilitate the comfort an leisure of travelers, all year round.
