Introduction:

The University of Essex is contracted with Vodafone for all SIM card connections.

Once you have identified an appropriate handset; please ask your departmental administrator to com-

plete a “Mobile Phone Request Form” which can be found on the IT Purchasing web page of the Universi-

ty website (https://www1.essex.ac.uk/it/services/purchasing/)

Part of the order form will be to present a business case for the device and connection. Please ensure this

is as accurate and detailed as possible so that we can correctly evaluate the device request and ensure

that the correct tariff is allocated to the user.
