Austin ISD

Education and Training“We brought the classroom to the cafeteria”

•Personally visited all schools over a 22 week period to train students, staff, and faculty.

•Conducted revisit trainings to insure success of the program.

Diversion Success

• Total pounds Diverted in the first 6 months :2,107,480 pounds

• Projected totals for 2011-12 school year: Over 4 million pounds
