NSP Maritime Link Project ABB Purchasing Processes

Purchases (Equipment/Material):

Two stage qualification process with second stage only required for major purchases.

Examples of information required in stage two are financial statements, insurance certificates, health and safety records, bonding limits, etc.

Services (Professional):

For subcontracted services prequalification occurs through the global supplier qualification process questionnaire.

Potential suppliers of services or components complete the prequalification process.

ABB will send a request for proposal or quotation package to applicable suppliers.

All submittals which meet the commercial terms will be evaluated based on the technical requirements, price, and experience with prior supply.

Suppliers must agree to ABB terms & conditions, which include signing and strictly abiding by the ABB Code of Conduct.
