John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born in May, 1917. He was sometimes
called Jack. He was the second of nine children. He liked English and
history at school. In 1960 John became the youngest man ever
elected president. He was the 35th President of the United States.
On November 21, 1963 John flew to Dallas. The next day he was
assassinated by a man called Lee Harvey as he rode through the
streets of Dallas. He died shortly after at the age of 46.
