VACHERON /CONSTANTIN

//The concept of “Gong Repeater” becomes directly from the mechanical techniques in the world of “Haute Horlogerie”. I thought interesting to explore the relationship between time and sound. Since it is one of the ancient methods we use to communicate the time or the events within our community. This idea fascinated me and I wanted to create a device that only through sound will explain the time. The product design from three points. The first was to obtain a unique and mystical sound to convey these ancestral values and Tibetan bowls were the perfect ring. The second was to convey the heritage of “Vacheron Constantin” and decided to ring the bell as the complication of “Minute Repeater” and

finally a functional need technology that adapts to the exhibition requires.//

NORMANN/COPENHAGEN// I created a collection with rounded lines and a simple, accommodating feel for Normann Copenhagen. The Bop Chair and Table have a functional design and gets their personality from a playful balance between the grown-up and childlike

modes of expression.

Jordi Pla’s designs are often inspired by nature. This is clearly evident in the Bop collection which evokes thoughts of the Baobab tree, known for its characteris-tically stout trunk. The designer has worked with shapes, proportions, thickness

and details giving Bop a soft yet robust feel.//

MISCELLANIA /SINCE 2008

// Merging typologies such as products, sectors, knowledge, specialities, materials, production process, colours, finishes, clients, countries, cultures and people is where he finds the information to come up with the ideas and solutions of a specific product, for a specific company and for a specific customer.//

//Get over the expectatives with the fair resources. It is a filosofy of balance between industry and am-bient. It is part of the design process to add value to a product and optimize their cost in relation to the

production, materials and transformation processes//
