Steps in commissioning Kathrein CCU1. Connect the Ethernet cable between PC and CCU.2. Set your PC Ipv4 settings to IP Address: 192.168.249.2 and 255.255.255.0 for Subnet Mask.3. Open your browser (Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer).4. Open the following address in the browsers Address bar: 192.168.249.2495. A pop-up will appear asking for username and password, the default username and password is kathrein (without the quotation).6. Click CCU Status and check for the firmware version, it should be 2.02, if not proceed by clicking Software Updates and browse for the firmware update file then upload, wait until finished updating.7. In the CCU page shown below, and change the CCU Ethernet IP with the required IP (see Note 1), 255.255.255.252 for the CCU Subnet Mask, and the required CCU Gateway Address (see Note 2) then click Save Setup. The CCU will be rebooted after confirming to reboot CCU twice. 8. Once the CCU has rebooted change your PC Ipv4 settings:a. IP Address = CCU Gatewayb. Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.2529. On your browser enter the CCU Address you have entered and it will ask again for username and password, same username and password as before.10. Once on the CCU page, click again the CCU Setup and enter all information, example shown below. Click Save Setup once all data were entered, you may also set the date and time of the system.

11. Continue by clicking Devices Setup and click Import Bus Scan Results once all RET were connected via AISG. Once all RET device are shown click Save Devices Setup.

12. Now click Devices Status it will show the status of each RET device.

13. Click Details for each RET device and enter required data and set the Down Tilt Value.a. For RFS antenna: Upload the antenna config file for the specific antenna type installed. In the Antenna Data File click Choose File and browse for the correct antenna config file then click Upload.b. For Kathrein: Find the correct antenna type on the dropdown list.

14. Do the same for the other RET devices.

Notes:Note 1: For the CCU Ethernet IP Address it is in the ManagementSubnet3G (static) column but plus 2 on the last digit, for example:

Z23023: The Management Subnet is 10.78.120.44 then the CCU Ethernet Address is 10.78.120.46

Note 2: For the CCU Gateway Address it is the CCU Ethernet Address but minus 1 for the last digit, following the example CCU Ethernet Address above the CCU Gateway Address is 10.78.120.45
