education, and socialization of children.

~ We provide learning opportunities which empower your child to learn social

skills, gross motor skills, numeracy skills, and literacy skills at their own pace.

~ Professionally qualified and

experienced teachers help extend, support and guide children's interests to

learn more.

~ Here at Kiwi Supertots Learning Centre we practise and follow child directed learning (Te Whaariki). It creates a bond and

partnership between teachers, parents and families (Whanau).

~ We encourage Parent’s voice, and your Child’s Voice, to support and extend your child's learning and help us grow with you and your

family (Whanau).

~ We thrive on following each child's interest and help extend their learning, by giving the children free access to all the resources, which

are catered to their age group.

~ Children get to experience trips outside the centre on a regular basis. Including neighbourhood walks.

~ Each child has their own portfolio, which holds your child’s art work,

photos and learning stories.

~ At Kiwi Supertots Learning Centre we take hygiene very seriously. The children wash their hands and faces before and after each meal.

~ Our kitchen areas are kept to a very high standard of cleanliness.

~ A baby's first 12 months of life is marked by incredible changes as baby transforms from a helpless new-born to an inquisitive toddler. At Kiwi Supertots your child is exposed to many different learning

opportunities, to gain confidence, have social interaction, and develop their own personality.

We are here to help your child meet all of the wonderful milestones like Sitting, Crawling, Walking and many more.

~ At Kiwi Supertots we have special programs for toddlers to fully develop their motor skills, and express their interests

through role play. Child are empowered to be independent in eating, drinking, and

working on their own projects.

~ Fully fenced outdoors area, with plenty of shade. There is a big playground and sand pit for the children to explore.

~ Healthy morning, afternoon tea and lunch is provided.

~ Resources and toys, age appropriate to stimulate and further develop social, physical, and mental skills.

~ The children have their own Vegetable Garden, which they planted with the Teachers. Our Chef uses the fresh Vegies in our food.

~ Pre-schooler’s have LOTS OF ENERGY! They learn constantly and use their boundless energy to explore their own abilities and skills. Pre-schoolers have three main jobs: to learn how to make things happen, to learn to like people and make those people like

them back.

~ Learning opportunities that teach children all the aspects of life. Giving them a sense of empowerment, achievement and success.

~ We have a Transition to School program in place, which helps the children to further their education with Numeracy, Literacy, Science etc.

~ Nutritious Morning, Afternoon tea and lunch provided. We encourage the child to serve themselves, which develops their self-help skills.

~ They have a large outdoor area which includes a jungle gym, playground and a sand pit to explore.

~ Our Kinder Palace offers Full Time and Sessions with 20 ECE Hours. For children 3 – 5 years.

~ Healthy Morning or Afternoon Tea is provided, which the children serve themselves.

~ To build recognition, and their literacy skills, Kinder Palace promote Letter of the Week. Everything they do throughout the week is associated to that letter.

~ They have a large outdoor area, where they spend a lot of their time exploring, developing and learning. The sand pit area is a great place for pretend play.

~ The class room is divided into different areas providing different learning opportunities with adequate resources so the children can engage and learn through freeplay.

~ Family play is one of the areas where the children spend a lot of time dressing up and playing “Mummy’s and Daddy’s”.

~ We have community visits, where parents and workers from Police, Fire, and Ambulance come in to talk about their career.

~ All new enrolments are offered a free transition period for a week before your child's start date. Your child has an opportunity to meet the teachers and new friends, as well as exploring their

new environment.
