Knitting

My SDL goal was to knit a scarf..

…I did not achieve my SDL goal…

How to knit: Casting on..

First, make a slip knot and put your two knitting needles into it, the right behind the left:

Next, take the yarn end and wrap in an anti-clockwise direction to the right hand needle.

Now, slide the right hand needle back behind the slip knot keeping the yarn end you put around it in firmly place.

So take the knitting needle and pull, Pull, PULL.

Now take the loop you just got on the tip of your knitting needle and put it on the top of the left knitting needle.

Now tighten…and VIOLA A STITCH IS CREATED!

How to Knit: Knitting…

Slip the right hand needle through the 1st knot as if casting on. Then take the yarn end and arrange it as if casting on:

This part is similar to casting on, but not really. You start the same by slipping your needle through the knot and putting it onto the loop.

But, instead of pulling on the loop, and pushing it onto the tip of the left knitting needle you slide the loop off of the left knitting needle altogether.

Barriers I Faced:

Making the stitching to small and tight: Making the stitching to large and loose: Messing up so I had to start over: The yarn slipping away from my needle:

Just remembering what I have to do

Same as Above
