estheticism is a genre in literature and philosophy, established in the 19th century, that defined beauty as

the ultimate quality reigning above everything else.

The individual however has the freedom to find its own interpretation of ultimate beauty, meaning that beauty

for example could be evil, as well as romantic.

KOR presents with “The Female in Aestheticism“ opposing views of beauty.
