23.6.2013 EXHIBITION OPENING official opening of the international exhibition of 40 international street art and graffiti artists Thisprogramthemeshowcasesartworks,introduceslocalandinternationalartistsandmakesyoung contemporaryandurbanartaccessibleandtangiblethroughabigandcomprehensiveexhibitionwithinthe commonconceptof“SignsofMokum”.

Inaddition,aone-dayeventartmarketwillbeset-uptopresentartwork,crafts,prints,fashionand publicationsofyoungandup-cominglocalartists,designersandculturalentrepreneurs.Thisspacewill serveasaplatformtothecreativeindustryofAmsterdamandshowcasesittoabroadpublic.

24.6.2013 BIG MURAL PAINTING (untill 15.7.2013) all artists will collaborate to create a common project: a comprehensive pictorial mural painting Thethemewillstaywithintherealmsof“Amsterdam’shistoryofshippingandtrade”.Incooperationwiththe AmsterdamScheepvaartMuseum,themuralwillbepartoftheireducationalprogramandusedasatoolto attractadiversetypeofaudiences.Thislargemuralwillbealivedemonstrationofavarietyofskills, technicsandstylestobeviewedbythepublicthroughoutthepaintingprocess.

25.6.2013 Special focus: Light-painting • Workshop, exhibition, Meet & Greet Kosmopolite Art tour will put A speciAl focus on An up-And-coming Art form: light-pAinting Thisisanartdisciplinethatallowedtheartisttocreatestunningvisualartworkusinglightasatoolsanda simplephotocamera.TheeventwillencompassanexhibitionattheRoestCafé,workshops,artistmeeting andthemainstudio:thedarkroomwherevisitorswillcreatetheirownartworkwithlight-paintingtools.

26.6.2013 Kosmopolis art Academy • urban art workshop kosmopolis art academy teaches youngsters the skills needed to create their own urban artwork Duringonedayparticipantscanattendadiversesetofcoursescoveringtheory(historicalfacts,analysisofartwork andartists,dialogaboutartinpublicspace),technique(stencil,screenprinting,spray-canart,illustration,painting) andpractice(artistmanagement,marketingandsocialmediaforcreativeworkers,planningasuccessfulexhibition). TheAcademyofferstailoredcoursestointerestedparticipantsofallages(beginnersandintermediate). Someofthesecourseswillhaveaparticipationfeeandotherswillbeofferedforfreeincooperationwith localhighschoolsinmulticulturalneighbourhoods.

28.6.2013 Paint Club Battle • Dutch finals two teams battle for a ticket to kosmopolite paris 2013. their weapons: markers, ink and a canvas The“PaintClubBattleTour”isauniqueartisticlive-paintingcompetitioninvolvingseveralteamsof designers,illustrators,street-artistsandpainters.Eachteamwillcreatealargecanvaswithinthe90minutes time-linetowardsagiventopic.Theaudiencewilldeterminethroughaninteractivevotingnoisesystemthe winner(andlosers)andcanparticipateafterwardsinadrawingandsketchingsessiontogetherwiththe artists.

29.6.2013 Art Markt, art & history city tours Art & history city tours will be led by some of the most renowned AmsterdAm’s street-Artists Thesetourswillincludesomeofthemostimportanthistoricalsitesrelevanttothisyear’scelebration:“Amsterdam2013”. Duringthetourparticipantswilldiscoverandlearnaboutthehistoryofmanyiconichiddenstreetartspots, learnaboutlocalartistsandpayavisittosomesmallbutoriginalgalleriesinthecity.Someofthetourswill takeplacebeforeandduringtheeventitself.
