For needlepoint: Use Very Fine #4 Braid for blending with other threads, Fine #8 Braidfor Congress Cloth or light coverage in tent stitch on 18-count, Tapestry #12 Braid on18-count, Medium #16 Braid for light coverage on 14-count, Canvas #24 Braid on 13-and 14-mesh, Heavy #32 Braid on 10- to 13-count, 1/16" Ribbon on 18-count, 1/8" Rib-bon on 10- to 14-count. All are excellent in specialty stitches.

Threading technique for Blending Filament, Japan #1 and Cord: Cutabout an 20-inch length of thread and fold about 2 inches from one end tocreate a loop. Insert the loop through the eye of the needle and pull the loop over thepoint of the needle to "lock" in place.

Threading technique for Braids, Ribbons and other Kreinik metallics:Cut a small strip of paper and fold in half. Place the fold through the eye ofthe needle and open the two ends to insert the thread in between. Gentlypull the paper through so the thread is brought along.
