Forexample, a satin or an ot-toman may be black on theface and gold , rose or anyother color on the reverse orunderside of the fabric. Thefa bric is reversible. One orboth sides may be used indesigning a garment. A truedouble cloth is made of twofabrics held together by anextra set of yams. If you pullthe two fabrics apart you cansee the extra set of yartis. Thefabrics made of double-weavedryclean satisfactory.

Double-faced fabrics aremade by taking two facefabrics and binding themtogether with an adhesive. Itis possible to create manydifferent fabrics by thismethod of construction.
