ATTRACTOR
Create pattern on the surface, exploded to create points. using attractor tool to make forces (can be more than one force) to pool all the points to certain area. Which it creates interesting patterns.
Attractor process
PANELIZATION TRIANGLE
From the base surface, divide up with 2d patterns and using parameter to change the number of patterns and opening angles.

PANELIZATION DIAMOND

KANGAROO
From given rhino and grasshopper file, play with it and learn how the kangaroo works.
KANGAROO EXTENDED
From previous kangaroo study, I foundt that kagaroo can be a tool to create a pavilion form and used as form finding.
VOXELISATION
Create simple surface and place boxes along the surface. Divide the surface with many boxes and using 'surface point' and 'dispatch' tool to make the final form.
3D VORONOI
From previous study, I found that is there anyway that I can produce in 3d version of voronoi? and This is the result. I used this as a module type 1 and applied to box morphing definition. Later page will demonstrate the box morphing method.

Module study
I need a module which is eactly sit inside the cube but wanted interesting module which it could create patterns when the module sit and stacked together. Divide up the cube to lines and changing parameters to made this form. Used this module to box morphing definition.
MODULE STUDY 2
Continuing from module study 1, using same idea of create a module which it sit in the cube, but this time focused on more individual dynamic form rather than creating patterns with other modules.

BOX MORPHING (FROM PATTERN / MODULE)
From the Voxelizing definition, I tried to acheive tower format rather than pavilion form. I researched and found that there are definition call 'box morphing' which it simply placing modules on the base form surface. Which is quite similiar idea with 'voxelizing'. So I used two different method to build up high tower form, placing modules on the surface points and create patterns on the surface and scale, loft them to create solid tower form. Used modules from the module exploration, which it demonstrated on previous pages.
PARAMETRIC ROTATION TOWER
Instead of having stacking up the cube modules, I found that it might interesting to have a tower which it rotate as it goes up. (President from singing ringing tree).
BONE STRUCTURE (BASE FORM FOR PART C)
Our group decided to focus on the voxelization. But our group needed mega strcuture so I was looking for what kind of base form could be used. I chosen bone structure which I found interesting from the president grasshopper file in LMS. Using similar method to generate this form, I start to make from simple box form and used kangaroo to generate organic bone structure.
VOXELISATION (CONTINUING FROM BONE STRUCTURE)
Continues from the bone structure, I tired to voxelize them but it cause problem of modeling it. The bone structure was more than 100m by 100m by 90m high so could not able to voxelize at once. (Keep freezed) so I divided the bone structure into four different part and model it. (Still cause problem of file size, at this point the file became 4 gigabites)
WIRE FRAMING (CONTINUING FROM BONE STRUCTURE)
Our design had three different part, base part is closed cube module, middle part have square hollow tube frame structure and top part was frame with turbines in it. This difinition was came from my head which is not clear and simple. This definition model the wireframe quite nicely but when I start to model it large amount of boxes, it start to freeze. I found that the wireframe module as individual (not merged together) so one module have 12 different frames(meshes). Therefore, when I tried to generate 100 boxes, it became 1200parts(meshes) were generated even it looks 100boxes. I tried to merge them but I failed to do so.
VOXELISATION WITH WIRE FRAME (CONTINUES FROM BONE STRUCTURE)
This definition is the final definition that I used for our group project (Turbox). The consequences are same from the previous definition but changed the method of generating the form. Rather than create massive box around the bone structure and pick surface point, I changed to divide the bone structure regulary and generate points and from this point I placed small plane, extrude them to get the voxelizing result. At the end, I used 'exoskeleton' component to thickned the edge of the boxes which it give the wire frame form.
