Council of Catholic Women Bake Sale Results
Thank you to everyone who donated the wonderful baked
goods and garden produce and to everyone who sup-
ported our Council of Catholic Women Bake Sale last
weekend. The proceeds of the sale were $473.00. Thank
you to Cathy and RaeAnn Meinholz, Joan Karls, Sally
Kjorlie, Glen and Sally Niesen, Patti, Allison and Emma
Lochner, and Belinda Zeman, for helping with the sale.

Thursday Morning Adult Study Group
The Morning Adult Study Group will resume meeting
Thursday September 13, 8:35-9:45 am in the parish cen-
ter. We will meet for six weeks on the topic, "True Re-
formers" as we examine six saints who led the Church's
rebirth from the ashes of confusion caused by the Prot-
estant Reformation: Saint Thomas More, Saint Ignatius
of Loyola, Saint Philip Neri, Saint Charles Borromeo,
Saint Teresa of Avila, Saint Francis de Sales. Participant
fee for this video based study is $10 payable the first day
of the study. Study dates: September 13 and 20,
October 11 and 18, November 8 and 15. To register or

September Coffee and Conversation
Adult parishioners are invited to gather in the parish
hall at Saint Patrick's Lodi, following morning Mass,
from 8:35 - 9:35 am. Tuesday, September 25 for
coffee and conversation as we begin a new quarterly
series on health and wellness topics. All interested are
most welcome as we explore a specific topic, learn
about available resources, share concerns and experi-
ences, and get questions answered! Our first topic ad-
dresses communicating care needs and wishes, family
decision-making dynamics and setting boundaries.
Amanda Husk, on staff with Agrace Hospice will be our
facilitator. Please join us! Questions may be directed

Care Team Ministry Renewal Day
All members of our parish Care Team and those parish-
ioners who serve as Ministers of Holy Communion to the
Homebound (and to our local care facilities) will gather
for a morning of renewal, Thursday, September 27,
following morning Mass, in the parish center at Saint
Patrick Church, Lodi, 8:45 am -12:15 pm. The morning
will offer a time for conversation, prayer,
sharing and exploring compassionate listening skills and
reviewing and celebrating our caring ministry. A soup and
salad lunch will be provided, along with salads or des-
serts brought by those attending. Morning refreshments
will also be provided immediately following Mass.

Council of Catholic Women
Blessed Trinity Parish Council of Catholic
Women will be gathering Thursday evening,
September 13 at 6:30 pm 6:30 pm in the
Parish Hall at Saint Patrick. All women are
invited to come and join the fun creating
FAITH JOURNALS for use by our CCD students this
year. We will enjoy time crafting, having refreshments and

This Sacred Council - Constitution on
Sacred Liturgy with Abbot Marcel Rooney, OSB
The Office of Worship is hosting a series of workshops
called, This Sacred Council: An In-Depth Study of the
Second Vatican Council’s Constitution on the Sacred
Liturgy. All sessions are led by renowned liturgical
scholar Abbot Marcel Rooney, OSB. His informative and
enjoyable presentations make these sessions appropri-
ate for anyone who participates in the Church’s liturgies.
The workshop is especially geared toward parishioners
who simply want to know how to celebrate the liturgy
more fully so that their lives may bear abundant fruit!
The sessions will be held on Saturdays, September
29, November 17, January 19, February 16 and March
16, all from 9:30-11:30 am at Holy Name Heights (702
S. High Point Road in Madison). You may come to one
or to all five! The sessions are free (a voluntary offering
