and ministries, that provide services which no one parish
could provide on its own.
We are at 85% as of May 29th. THANK YOU! Just as we
are one in the Body of Christ, we must remember that we are
one with other parishes.“Let each of you look not to your

Dear beloved parishioners of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint Rose of Lima,
By now many of you have heard that I have been reassigned by Bishop Edward Weisenberger. I will be moving the
weekend of July 1st to become the Pastor of Saint Joseph’s Parish in Tucson, Az. It is a large Parish with a School.
Please pray for me and my transition. I will miss Graham county and the great people who have built up this
community. You have taught me a lot, and I hope I was a good spiritual guide. We have been through a lot. Please
continue to teach your children the faith so they continue to grow strong. My prayers are with you.
Bishop Edward Weisenberger has assigned Rev. Nicodemus Shaghel, V.C. to Graham County. He is currently serving
at Immaculate Conception Parish in Yuma, Az., and my home parish. My family and the parish are heart broken that Fr.
Nicodemus will be leaving them. He is primarily a teacher at Yuma Catholic High School. He works with youth and
wants them to learn their faith correctly. I hope and pray that together with Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint Rose of
Lima we will make Fr. Nicodemus’s transition a smooth one. He is a good friend and brother priest and I look forward
to meeting with him in the next few months before he begins his service here July 3rd.
Rev. Robert A. Rodriguez
Please pray for the father of Rev. Nicodemus who is gravely ill. He will be making a trip to Nigeria and has plans
to return in July. Rev. Nicodemus first day will be July 3rd.
God Bless
I would like to thank everyone who attended my Anniversary Mass
of Thanksgiving. I appreciate everyone who brought a dish to share. I will miss you all. May
God Bless you and your family. You will always have a special place in my heart.
All for the glory of God! Fr. Robert A. Rodriguez
