DIRECTIONS FOR LETTERS AND SHAPES: Print out the pages of the electronic book. Provide child with dot markers. Using dot markers, fill in each circle using dot markers to complete the shapes or letters. Optional: practice writing the letters at the bottom of the letter pages using a pencil.

FOR PATTERN PAGES:

Copy Me Activity: Print out the large pattern page on page 37. The adult can create a pattern with the dot markers. The child tries to copy the pattern exactly on his/her own large pattern page.

Small Pattern Pages: Print out the pattern pages with 4 rectangles (pages 38-40). Cut up the pages into four rectangles by cutting along the solid lines. Provide the child with the blank pattern rectangles. The child can try to copy each pattern exactly from the printed cards.

Get Creative: Give the child the large pattern page on page 37. The child can create his/her own design on the pages using the dot markers.
