Case Study: University of South Florida The USF Libraries utilizes a massive table to
map LibGuides into course shells in Canvas There are three possibilities for each course:
If available, a course-specific LibGuide takes precedence (75 total)
The table then checks for a Subject Guide (65 total)
If neither of the above are available, the course maps to a General & Multidisciplinary page with a number of our best resources

Pages from “On Demand” to automatically generating a page for every course
Since we could guarantee a page for every course Moodle programmers agreed to add Library Block as default.

Matt Torrence currently serves as the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) and Business Librarian at the University of South Florida, Tampa Library. Matt works extensively in evaluating the resource requirements of these and other subject areas to enhance and improve library collections. Research interests include assessment of library and reference services, public service statistics, and staff training. Contact: torrence@usf.edu

Jon Jeffryes is the subject liaison to Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Standards at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Jon's research interests include information literacy and instruction. He's especially interested in the creation of online learning objects and the use of Web 2.0 technologies for instructional purposes. He's also interested in citation managers including RefWorks, EndNote, Mendeley and Zotero; and their ability to supplement and enhance research and instruction. Lily Todorinova is the Undergraduate Experience Librarian at Rutgers University. Her work centers around student engagement, developing programs, and building partnerships to promote student success at Rutgers. Prior to working at Rutgers, Lily was a public services librarian at the University of South Florida. She received her M.L.S. from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2010.
