ACHIEVEMENT

THE MISSION of the YMCA of COASTAL CAROLINA is to put Christian
principles into practice through programs that help build a healthy spirit, mind,
and body FOR ALL.
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT is the social-emotional, cognitive, and physical
process that all youth uniquely experience from birth to career. A
successful development process fulfills children and teens’ innate need
to be loved, spiritually grounded, educated, competent, and healthy.
At the Y, strengthening community is OUR CAUSE. We are a non-profit, charitable
organization and everyday we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure
that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to
learn and grow.
GIVE THE GIFT OF CAMP!
Last summer, the YMCA of COASTAL CAROLINA
awarded over $20,000 in financial assistance
to 75 kids so they could attend Summer Day
Camp. We believe that every child in our
community should have the opportunity to
experience the BEST SUMMER EVER at camp
regardless of their financial circumstances.
Your donation makes this possible.
Please consider a gift of $5 or more to
support sending kids to camp.
For information on how to apply for Financial
Assistance, please contact your local branch.
Donating is quick and easy.
Check “Yes! I want to donate to
support sending kids to camp”
on your registration form.
WELCOME TO CAMP Welcome to Summer at the
YMCA of COASTAL CAROLINA!
With camp programs based on the Y values of
honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility, we
provide children with a priceless experience in a
safe and supportive environment. Whether
you’re considering a traditional day camp or
specialty camp, summer at the Y is filled with
excitement, adventure, new friends, lifelong
memories, and most of all, discovery!
There are few unique environments as special
as camp, where kids become a part of a
community and form friendships as they learn
how to be more independent and contribute to
a group. Amidst all the fun of swimming,
sports, archery, and creative arts, children
develop attitudes that build character and
promote leadership.
It is our hope that through summer camp at the
Y, your child finds a place they belong. A place
where they can build confidence through trying
new things and create friendships and memories
to last a lifetime!
