AboutBY EVE

BY EVE is the brainchild of designer Sandra Peters. A key element

of the brand is the use of glass, which is combined with a number

of other materials such as wood, metal, etc. The origins of this

venture go back to when designer Sandra Peters was looking for

a suitable table lamp for her showroom. When she couldn’t find

what she was looking for, she decided to have a go at creating

her own design for a model that would meet her particular needs.

And as they say, the rest is history. At this point in 2020, BY EVE is

a fully-fledged brand enjoying healthy growth, with an extensive

collection that is defined by timeless simplicity and atmosphere.

Each BY EVE lamp is individually crafted using hand-blown glass. The

result is a completely unique product each time with no identical versions

anywhere. We also use a special colouring process for the glass. Our focus

on craftsmanship is a question of common sense: it allows us to create

more beautiful and premium quality products, with no visible seams for

instance, as opposed to machine made items. They are made with love, and

it shows. And yet, in spite of this focus on traditional quality, our products

are affordable.

The Icons offer a nice contrast to the modern minimalist

kitchen in which they are carefully positioned. Their

round, organic shape offers a welcome break to the

straight lines of the room and adds a pleasantly warm

touch. These are custom-made models, which have

been given a hint of gold at the customer’s request.

Working à la carte is essential to us. We always act

according to our customers’ wishes and go the extra

mile to meet their personal wishes.

Creating an ensemble consisting of a number of lamps with the same shape was a fascinating

challenge for us. In this particular instance we use standard ceiling plates to fix the lamps, but we

also offer customised models, as well as our own Tentacles hanging solution. We adapt the size

of the mount to fit in with the customers’ tables and to meet their taste preferences. If you don’t

find what you are looking for in one of our five standard sizes, we will find a customised solution

for you. And we will also adapt the composition of the lamp to meet your specific needs.

In this residential project, created by one of our dealers, customisation

is the central axis of the project. The cornerstone of the project is the

Tentacles solution, which is our own unique creation. It exudes a more

industrial ambiance. Thanks to their original shape, our Maxi Bulbs can be

After the success of the Pendant lamp and by popular demand of our

customers, we expanded our collection. The result is a selection of both

wall lamps and floor/table lamps. Here you can see the first model from

that collection, which is now a comprehensive range, with shapes and

colours to suit everyone’s taste.

Due to the overwhelming success of the Drum pendants, we created a

table lamp version of the model in three variations. Customers can choose

between a marble or wooden base, each available in a number of colours.

They can also select their preferred glass from a range of four colours.

Thanks to the wide range of possibilities, it is possible to compose items

that are completely personalised to fit in with individual interiors. This is a

typical hallmark of BY EVE.Project: Lommers Wonen

We are also able to create 3D designs based on the requirements of our

customers. This gives them a realistic picture of what their purchase will

ultimately look like once installed. This is extremely useful, because it is

not always easy to visualise lamps and their fixtures when they are finally

in place. So, because every customer, every lamp and every house is diffe-

rent, we produce a customised drawing. This service has been very popular

among our customers, and the dealers that we work with also acknow-

ledge the extremely useful advantages for them as they can incorporate

the designs into the interior designs that they in turn offer their customers.

BY EVE lighting is about atmosphere, atmosphere and

more atmosphere. Lighting should occupy a central

place in interiors. And there’s nothing to stop them

These wall lamps were added to the collection to

complement the pendant lamps. Anyone with a BY EVE

pendant lamp can now add a matching wall-mounted

luminaire that creates the same ambiance. Customers

compose their own lamps and can choose between a

wide range of colours.

our collection. A concept that extends to our floor lamps as

Our motto, that applies to all our collections, and no more

so than here, is that nothing is too much when it comes to

meeting our customers’ needs. We are passionate about

what we do and will not shy away from any challenge, just

the opposite in fact; we welcome challenges. In the case of

a sloping ceiling for instance, we will provide a mounting

solution that tilts at a number of degrees. In addition to the

standard range, we offer endless possibilities according to

your interior and preferences.
