DESCRIPTION

„Sick Love” is not just the title of the poem written by William Blake, but also the inspiration for young designer Diana Flore’s Spring / Summer 2014 collection. The central motif of both the poetry and the collection is the rose, which can be seen both in literary form and as a symbol of love. The ,, illness" that struck the rose is due to a worm that slipped under the wing of darkness, killing the flower. In this case, love is a sick feeling. The designer imagined a young woman named Rose who exuded feminity leaving behind her pastel shades of her thorny past. Her personality was developed under the shadow of male bites, showing her frailty hidden in intimacy. She was a wild one, you could recognize her across the flowery fields where she shined brighter than a star. The designer successfully combines brocade with metal rivets and golden details in a trashy-romantic look, but still very well defined. The silk veil and bicolor sequins successfully complete this appearance.
