Typical failures:The main reason for failure of the MA gearbox lies in the wear and tear of the main bearing, normally as a result of high mileage. This can be caused by abrasion occurring within the transmission oil. Such wear of the MA gearbox is noticed during driving in the form of a rattling sound.
