How To Terminate an RJ45
Getting startedUsing the Cyclops cable stripper open and insert the Cat5 patch cable turn the Cyclops in the direction of the small arrow one or two turnsSeparate the cable into the pairs
Split and sortEither use a flat blade screwdriver in between the twists and pull out or simply untwist the pairsSort wires into the correct order pull them into your fingers between and hold them securely

Shake and TwistHolding the wires securely pull and move the cables side to sideThis will align the wires parallel and make them smooth ready to be cut
Measure the RJ45 for the lengthEnsure the PVC is inside the RJ45 mark with your thumb the correct lengthCut here
Cutting the wiresWhen cutting the wires ensure you cut The side cutter blade is not parallel with the handle it goes off at about 25o
So offset the handle till the blade is at 90o to ensure a square end
Insert the cable into the RJ45Keep the wires secure as you push them into the end of the RJ45Ensure the wires rub on the roof of the RJ45 so they dont flick out of orderInsert to the end of the RJ45 the cables will get into guiding groves once inside
Check the wires will be terminated by the IDCEnsure the wire meets the end of the connectorBoth sides
CrimpInsert the RJ45 into the jaws of the Crimping toolAnd Squeeze (a couple of times)
Test!Use a continuity tester to ensure that each end has terminatedIf any failure the end must be cut off start again
