B-movie Sci-Fi horror genre.

Plot

The story takes place in the 1950’s retro-future. The Venture 1 Space Station hasbeen hit by a meteor which led to theastronauts, who inhabit it, to evacuate andhead straight to Earth. While travelling to

earth the astronauts started to change thatwhen they reach Earth they are never the

same again.

Modelling Stages:Once we have designed the seven characters it was time to divide themamongst ourselves and create them. The characters carry a cartoonish realismlook so we modeled them to have more of an organic appearance that theirfacial expressions and body movement look more real as well as cartoony.

Rigging Stage:

Since nearing the dead line wedecided to give the maincharacters, the General, the

Assistant and the Scientist noleg controls. The reason why is

because we notice that in thetrailer they don’t move aroundas much only their upper torsowe only focused on that. Wefelt this will shorten our riggingtime so we have more time

animating Their arms are onlyhave IK controls. The spines

on the General and Scientisthave FK controls while the

Assistant spine have IK

controls.
