DEER HUNTING CONDITIONS - Hunters must comply with the Firearms Act 1996, the Wildlife Act 1975 and any other conditions defined on DPIs website www.dpi.vic.gov.au; - Firearms and bows must: - not be discharged for any purpose other than hunting deer within Alpine, and Baw Baw national parks, Avon Wilderness Park and Tara Range Park; - not be used or loaded within 100 metres of any camping or picnic area - remain unloaded and concealed while being carried in vehicles and while not in actual use for hunting. - Use of dogs is prohibited where indicated on this map; - Use of spotlights is prohibited.NOTE - Hunters are personally responsible for informing themselves about any prohibited locations or restrictions within the areas shown on this map by informing themselves on the most current and up to date conditions and restrictions; - Wildlife (Game) regulations 2001 refer to hunting seasons for individual species; - Hunting outside the planning area is not shown.
