MAPFRE Homeowner Real-Time Rating

1. To add MA Home Carrier Credentials into SinglePoint. Log into SinglePoint and click on the Carrier Credentials box.

Scroll down to MAPFRE, click on the plus sign to expand the fields. Type in the MA Home Agency Portal user id and password. The click on the ‘Save Changes’ button. Close the screen when completed. ** It is important that the MA Home Agency Portal credentials are valid.

2. Add an agency code into WinRater for Home Real Time Rating. On the WinRater Quick Start Menu, click on ‘Options’, in the drop down selection click on ‘Agency Codes’.

Highlight Commerce – Home Click on ‘Add Agent Code’ box If there are multiple agency codes, i.e. for different office locations, enter in a description to tell each code apart.

Type in a MA Home Agency code. Click on ‘OK’ when completed. If necessary type in a description.

Click on the ‘Save’ button on the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Quoting a MAPFRE Home Real Time

On WinRater Quick Start Menu click on the Home icon. Scroll down to MAPFRE Home Real Time. Be sure the Quote Effective Date is 12/5/16 or later. ** Manufactured rates for Commerce or Citation may appear for short period of time. ** During the initial roll out of Real Time, Commerce or Citation for Manufactured rates can also be selected, however this is not required. Please note that shortly after the roll out is completed, the Manufactured rates will be removed, leaving only MAPFRE Home Real Time as an option.

What’s new with MAPFRE Home Real Time Rating?

1. Client information is required for real time rating. To get to the client screen click on the ‘Client Info’ button on the bottom of the screen.

Enter in the First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Address and Move-in Date. Click ‘Ok’

2. In the Endorsement tab select an Agency Code. The Agency Code is bridged over the MAPFRE Home

Agency Portal. If there are multiple agency codes be sure to select the correct code in the drop down selection.

3. A new discount is available – ‘MAPFRE Life Account Discount’. For more information on this discount please refer to the MA Home Agency Portal Manual.

4. Boston Territories or Jamaica Plain Divisions will no longer need to select a District. MAPFRE will use Risk Meter to determine the proper Boston District. BEFORE

For Boston towns/cities, it is important to enter in the correct ‘Dwelling Address’ and ‘Zip Code’ as this is how Risk Meter will determine the proper district. Any Boston District can be selected, Risk Meter will apply the proper Protection Class and Territory.

For Coastal locations, it is important to enter in the correct ‘Dwelling Address’ and ‘Zip Code’ as this is how Risk Meter will determine distance to coast.

5. With MAPFRE Home Real Time, there will be two quotes. One for Citation and one for Commerce, providing both are eligible. The Citation quote will be presented first.

Please keep in mind that some Underwriting rules and guidelines may be applied to the eligibility of a home quote.

6. If the quote does not meeting Underwriting eligibility, one of the writing companies, Citation or Commerce may display as a N/A.

It is important to click on the magnifying glass, select the proper writing company and read the Citation Real Time Messages in the Plan Summary screen.

7. To view the ‘Plan Summary’, click on the magnifying glass to the left of the premium. To view each writing company detail, click on the down arrow to the right of the writing company name. In the ‘Plan Summary’ screen it is important to read the ‘Commerce Real Time Messages’.

8. The MAPFRE - Advantage Packages can now be selected in a drop down option.

9. A Commerce umbrella can still be quoted in Rater. However, the Umbrella premium will not be added into the final Home Real Time premium.

10. Losses are now part of the eligibility guidelines in Home Real Time Rating. If there are any losses be sure to enter in Losses in the Underwriting tab. If there have not been any losses, check the No Losses box.

11. Bridging over to MAPFRE Home Agency Portal will now be via SinglePoint. Before the quote is submitted, be sure the proper quote is submitted over for either a Citation or Commerce quote.

Once the proper quote is chosen, click on the ‘Submit’ button on the bottom of the Plan Summary screen.

Click the ‘Submit’ button the screen below will be presented with a message. This is to ensure the proper quote has been chosen. Click on the ‘Yes’ button to proceed.

At the SinglePoint Submission Carrier Specific Data Requirements screen, click on the ‘Submit Now! button on the lower right hand corner of the screen.

Once in MAPFRE Agency Portal the message below will be presented with the Upload from Boston Software Corporation WinRater Suite was a success! Screen. Click on the link ‘Start fixing problems with the submission’
