Dec 2014
Thanks to everyone who participated in the
Change of Watch party – we had a very good
turn out and a good time was had by all. Con-
gratulations to the many sailing and club service
award recipients.
The many activities at the club continue
through these winter months – hope to see all of
you at Steak Night, Sunset Fridays, the Christ-
mas Party, and/or the Junior Sailing of Beaufort
Oyster Roast/BBQ on New Year’s Day. Look
for details elsewhere in this Bow Watch or on
the web site. Also, there are several projects
currently in progress that could use some volun-
teer help – contact the office.
By the way, the clubhouse is beautifully decorated for the season – come take a look.
And, as always, there is no better place from which to view the beautiful sunsets this time
of year than the BYSC grounds.
It is your club – come enjoy it - Chuck
Hey Ya’ll, The year is winding down here at the BYSC
and we have had a great time! The Christmas Par-ty will be Sunday Dec 14th and I look forward to seeing everyone. We will be sending out invoices for 2015 dues at the end of the month. If from now on you would like to receive your invoices elec-tronically please let us know via email. Happy Holidays from all of us here at BYSC and we look forward to another awesome year.

Memo from Junior Sailing of Beaufort, Tis’ the season for giving and here at year’s end, Junior Sailing of
Beaufort (JSB) would like to remind everyone that we welcome dona-tions to support our organization. As JSB is a 501c 3, each donation is tax- deductible.
JSB can accept boats, trailers, or any boating equipment that is in good working order or is in reasonably salvageable condition to be put to direct use in our program, or liquidated to raise funds to support our pro-gram. As always, cash is an acceptable donation. You may also support JSB by donating to the annual Oyster Roast on January 1st of the New Year (see flyer in the Bow Watch). These Donations can include items for our live and silent auctions or “donations” of bags of oysters to help off-set the event expenses ($30.00 per bag).
If you are interested in making a donation for the Oyster Roast or to JSB in general for the New Year, please feel free to contact Ricky Akers, the President of the Board of Directors of Junior Sailing of Beaufort (richardakers@gmail.com).
Thank you for continuing to support our organization, and thank you for your donations. Have a safe holiday season, and a happy New Year!
Sincerely, Dylan Frey
